This review is for the girls, the 8-12 year old girls that is. My family was given a copy of the NIV Beautiful Word Coloring Bible to use and review. Honestly, even if you're older than the suggested age for this, you'll still be interested in getting one because it's lovely!

Girls that enjoy journaling and coloring with this set. There are hundreds of verses printed within line art that can be shaded, colored, and blended. Then, they can embellish their art with the enclosed stickers.
My reviewer was slightly older than the targeted age range, but no matter. She's still a girly girl, and couldn't wait to get her markers on the beautiful illustrations. The cover is a sturdy, velvety aqua color with whimsical flowers in a darker shade of blue with white enhancements. She dove right in, happily using it for her personal devotions. She already has plenty of highlights and notes here and there.
My daughter is a natural born note taker and doodler!
Inside you'll find...the Bible! It's the NIV version, the same as you'll find in any typical NIV Bible for adults. Throughout the pages, in the margins, and sometimes on their own separate pages, are artistic illustrations, designs, and of course, verses. I really like that the overall theme is not ultra phoofy, if you know what I mean. It isn't too "little girly". Not every girl loves pink, right? The color scheme used on the cover actually look rather elegant. This is a Bible that can and will be used for years. In fact, I would happily use and carry this version to church and Bible study.

I've taught my daughters that the Bible is a book that can and should be written in with notes and whatever helps the owner understand and retain the message. This Bible already does some of that work for you, heehee. My daughter and I agree that this is, like its title, a beautiful coloring Bible. This will make a meaningful gift for the tweens and pre-teens in your life.
